Hello fellow people with a healthy respect for others.
As I am new here, I believe it is customary to introduce one self ( inwardly I shudder, I am not big on shouting about myself), so now that is over with , what's your names....what I haven't...oh sorry I get so nervous even though it's not that big a deal ( I genuinely needed to role play a little sorry, it helps me).
So currently some may know me as 7T in Assetto Corsa, others from same Sim may know me as Tatto, I was bullied into getting a wheel after being on jimmo's server after 700hrs of play, so I saved and got a G27, ok ok , my laps times improved massively and yes I enjoy it even more, but, but some here know only to well ( hopefully feeling guilty now). In fact yes I did do 700hrs in AC with Xbox controller and met some fantastic drivers and really good people, I even did my own server from time to time that I moderated over and most gave very positive feedback, I was always surprised I was doing reasonable times and race results. I felt I have always been totally fair with others, so much so (even on AC forums some one posted a Youtube of he and I battling as example of fair but firm). I did eventually get a wheel and I practiced and practiced and ...wait for it... I ..prac..tically got the grips with things. I wasn't bullied into getting a wheel, but many knew I was saving for one, so they would ask me often (thought it would be fun , in these days full of poor me characters). Sometimes I just get into a grove, traffic permitted, I don't tend to practice offline or try to set best hotlaps, at 45 that doesn't interest me at all, though I will set a personal goal from time to time and someones time maybe the carrot I need. I absolutely love wheel to wheel racing, I hate and I do mean that, if I crash into another and gain advantage, unless they were assuming I would turn invisible and turn into me, I race in the manner a professional race steward would never give me a penalty or to put it simpler , I race the way I wanted to be raced against! I will normally start near the back as qualifying I just never get the luck with traffic and also if I have noted some quick drivers over 1 lap are dirty drivers that get away with it (and percentages of incidents being near front favour them), I am not interested in them, I just like to stroll from the back and enjoy passing cleanly and giving room, rather than chopping the nose and side body of somebody , quicker drivers I enjoy as a fresh challenge (it just maybe my approach to either car or track or both) I don't get passed often but I will leave room, I will often just stay in the pits till the race, unless I need to just at least do a few corners with the car or track.
I also play ARMA 3 and many other games that are a little more in depth and require me to learn some skills, but has to be based around some kind of authentic. I am not into Ego based scenario games , I am not a cat needing to piss on a tree to mark my territory (or something similar), that is my personal choice, while I may speak my mind on such things, I will always respect others of different opinion to mine, and by the end of any conversation will make sure a balance is met in terms of peace.
I have just looked and it seems I need to stop, phew hey (nervous people talk sometimes a lot, I mean a hell of a lot). Anyway a little about myself, I do hope I find you all well.
Yours 7T (Tatto)
